The shine of the clear glass, the thought-out, harmonious shapes and the functionality of the décor mirror the goal of the designer: Whoever drinks out of his tumblers, pours from his carafe or eats from his bowl should enjoy doing so. Nothing should get in his way, the pieces are at his command. The cut gives the glass a pleasant feel, the shapes fit comfortably into one’s hand and the sizes follow a system. The shine eventually delights the eye and the soul.
